I decided to upload a picture of my Granny. It feels appropriate as it is close to the 2 November (theDay of the Dead) when in many countries people celebrate their loved ones who passed away. I did this sketch of my Granny shortly before she died.
She was a tiny woman with beautiful, strong mind and spirit. ****
Your "Granny" picture is most captivating along with your charcoal pictures on your linked website. I'm amazed at how on some of those pictures (ex.llonka Neni) you have strong detail--wrinkles,hair, folds in clothes--and yet it's charcoal! I have worked with that medium before and I find it frustrating how the picture can easily smear with one wrong twist of my wrist. Anyway, great job! I hope to see more amazing artwork!
